Sparrow? US, Mid Atlantic (1 Viewer)

Hello, I am wondering if this is a common sparrow. Located in mid Atlantic, Maryland, spring time. It was rather large not the size I usually see in sparrows. Seemed twice the size. The color pattern looked to be different also. The picture isn't the greatest because I edited it a bit to get more detail of the bird. Any ideas?Attach44.jpg

Thanks, I had a male showing up on feeders at the same time. Would have never put the two togehter they look so different but the size is the same. Every spring they show up but must be moving through. I never see them again until next spring.
