Wonderful Autumn day to visit to St.Ursanne. One of my favourite Towns in Switzerland. Wallcreeper was on the Rail Viaduct as seen at the beginning of the year. This is one of the easiest places to see them ( had 4 earlier in the year).
Other birds seen included 7 Common Buzzards, RedKites, Ravens, and so many marsh tits.

Another favourite birding spot for me is the Reuss Delta on the Urnersee.
I am still surprised that this is not a greater migration area as it is on the South side of the lake and towards the various passes into the South.
It was a cold bleak day but the sight of a hunting Goshawk, first Black necked grebe and several Dippers help to warm us up.

With such good juju yesterday , I thought I would look for golden eagles at Engleberg. This is one of my good spots along with Unterschaechen, Melchsee Frutt and Hasliberg for seeing Golden Eagles.
Good to visit as few tourists at the moment and skiing season not started.
No luck with the Eagle. Several Ravens, Common Buzzards, Red Kites seen but very quiet birding day. Highlights were 2 Black woodpeckers.
Great view of the mountains …I like the Restaurant at “ the end of the world”.
