Syrian Woodpecker in Krakow? (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I will spend a few days in Krakow in September. I've never seen Syrian Woodpecker, so wondering if there are any easily accessible site (I will not have a car) in or near Krakow where you can see this species.

Many thanks for any recommendations!

I can only help by trying to point out something from eBird. This site: https://ebird.org/checklist/S139634178 (not sure how exact the coordinates are), seems to have had a Syrian Woodpecker consistently since 2016, and it's the only red dot on eBird's map around the city: Sign in. This hotspot: https://ebird.org/hotspot/L6529639, also looks like a decent bet, but it appears to cover a big area, and the bird hasn't been seen for some 3 months (or 7 checklists), so maybe not that decent after all.

When looking, they like open areas with very, scattered trees, I've even seen one in a tree at the side of a road, not in Poland though, Belarus.
