Trystan's tentative 2021 world list (1 Viewer)

31.12.21

Decided to get motivated at see if I could make 750 for the year. (Assuming no indexing errors, 2 required).

With Black redstart and velvet scoter regularly at Flamborough, and intermittent Richards pipit up the road plus the possibility of Bewicks Swan kind of enroute home, I felt I had a good chance.

As it was I scraped over the line with:

Flamborough

749. (254.) Black redstart

Blacktoft sands / Adlingfleet

750. (255.) Bewick's swan

UK total actually 254 as Short-toed treecreeper from Guernsey was included.

So that's my best annual world total despite the limited travel options. Not sure next year's prospects are much better for travel. Can't really plan much in advance again with some ideas for January already ditched.

Let's see how it goes.

Thanks for reading, and happy new year.
