i’m in south uk, and in my garden i saw a blackbird, but then I realised it had a long beak, similar to a crows, that was the same shade as blackbirds, except the tip was black. it’s tail feathers and the tips of its wings were brown as well (the rest of it was black). it was the same size as a blackbird too. my eyes could be playing up on me and it was just a blackbird that had something in its beak but if anyone might know a bird like this that would be great!

Sounds like a normal Blackbird with a deformed beak - apparently there's a virus that can cause this.

PS welcome to Birdforum!
