The piper pictured, I think is a juvenile Common Sandpiper. There is a bit of a shoulder gap there, but it seems a bit rotund and short tailed. Plenty of adult Sandpipers have arrived on the coast (Seafield) today, so I'm fairly sure this is just a juvenile.

Second bird, I think, is a Whimbrel?
