What's the fun of year lists ? (5 Viewers)

I don't keep a year list anymore, I haven't got the time to go everywhere and see everything. I can remember the last time I saw Lesser Spotted Woodpecker, Firecrest, Hen Harrier, Woodlark,y'know all my favourites, not forgetting Yellow Browed Warbler of course, as if it was Yesterday.
I do have a very long list of birds I'm still waiting to see but I'm not bothered, it'll happen sooner or later.
