Taken at quite a distance, but the white is genuine, not due to camera artifacts. Never saw a Buzzard quite this white.....

Funny, I had one on a trailcamera a few weeks ago, 200 kilometers East...



The tail looks a bit different, I don't think it can be the same bird. Sadly it's looking away on all pictures.

Not really. From memory I think they’re indeed more common further north but here in my part of France there are the odd pale ones seen regularly.

The whitest ones I've seen were (also) in central France.
