Caspian Tern on Saturday - very satisfying after the Bexington fiasco [don't ask] - following hard on the heels of the wonderful surprise Blyth's Reed Warbler on Wednesday!

B :) B :)

Pallas's warbler on Sunday at Lindisfarne, with the previous weekend quickly producing grey / red phalarope, Cory's shearwater, great shearwater and Wilson's storm-petrel on a Mar Ilimitado pelagic off Sagres. The latter was also a new family (Oceanitidae)...at least on IOC taxonomy...while the Pallas's was a bit of an armchair twitch since the split from lemon-rumped (or should that be the other way round?...).
