Please could you tell me a little more of Buzzards winter habits, is it right that they form groups, is it all males or mixed groups, talking Common and UK.
Do they then look for mates and territories in the spring? Seem to have some lovely groups aroung here at the moment, the most I have seen in one group is 8, do they roost together?

I'm no expert on them but we have some local ones. They do gather together in larger numbers in winter to roost in woodland though some are present all year. Other Buzzard species with them sometimes and usually a few Red Kites.
