I will be in Jacksonville next week and was hoping to add a few new birds to the life list. Do you know where to possibly find the following within 1 hrs drive from Jax. I already know these species habitats so hopefully someone can give me a more specific location...Thanks

Red-cockaded Woodpecker
King Rail
American Bittern
Limpkin
Purple Gallinule
Brown-headed Nuthatch
Seaside Sparrow
Bachman's Sparrow

I have narrowed my location to Guana River State Park which is just south of Jacksonville Beach. Also have added a few more sought after species

Least Bittern
Clapper Rail
Virginia Rail
Sedge Wren
Marsh Wren

If you have been to this park and know specific areas that have turned up any of these species listed above or from the before post let me know....thanks for the information.....I'm excited to get some Florida birding in!
