Glen Affric today (1 Viewer)

Had a wee run in the car up to Glen Affric today, inbetween showers I saw some nice birds. Found a breeding colony of house martins at the Chisholm Bridge and just round the corner was a breeding colony of sand martens. Also had lots of siskins, willow warblers, mistle thrushes and a spotted flycatcher. A lovely area and less than 20 miles from my house. I think I'll be back! :t:

One of Scotlands gems.Youre lucky to live so close.Still a lot of good birds in the Glen, that you could see yet.

Try Glens Cannich and Strathfarrar as well - much less traffic and therefore better wildlife encounters. Also Corrimony RSPB is not a million miles away
