Hello together,

I think about 3 weeks trips for combination birdwatching + snorkeling at coral reef.
Ideal is area where I can do both together.
But also possible is 7 - 10 days lodge in national park + 7 - 10 days in the hotel, holiday flat or B&B near beach.
Bird watching I want to do on my on steam but daily tours in a group is also possible.
Price level I do not know, is possible around 100 US$ per day ?

Any advice ?

Best regards
Dieter

I don't know enough about snorkeling or coral reefs to address that aspect with any authority, but I've read that Manzanillo (along the Caribbean coast near Panama) is well situated for such pursuits. I do know that the birding (guided & self-guided) is excellent, and it's a very budget-friendly destination. During one visit there a friend & I spent just over three weeks & we agreed it ended too soon! Consider Patrick O-Donnell or Randall Ortega for guided birding with people who know the area.
