Lizard or Gecko (1 Viewer)

Having absolutely no knowledge whatsoever of Lizards anywhere, especially Arabia, can anyone ID this one for me. It was taken yesterday on the beach on Masirah Island, Oman. Taken with a very long focal lens (only one I had with me) and in very bright sunlight, they are two different individuals and the coloration is fairly accurate ie one bluish and one brownish.
Thanks in anticipation.

Thanks for that Alan you appear to be spot on, a female as it doesn't show any ridges on the tail. Had a good browse around the net but I can't find any detailed information about the species anywhere...range, commonality etc etc.

Thanks once again

Colin
