Didn't have much to read about it but I noticed that under the category of super zoom digital cameras the fz-20 rated the highest amongst similar cameras in its class. There were probably about 7 other cameras on the list. I believe it was the November 05 copy of consumer reports magazine.It really didn't seem to give all that much detail though.
