I'm going to Bamberg in Bavaria in January. Does anyone know what birds are common to the area? I won't have time to do much bird watching but I'm always on the look out generally.

I do not know this area. Bamberg has no nature club ?
NABU ( Naturbund ) is in Regensburg and Hof which are not far from Bamberg, maybe they can help ?

Thanks Dieter for your help

I have a European Bird book too, so I'll take that with me. I'm only there for a few days so will not have time to do too much in the way of birding!
