little raptor in Kilimanjaro, Tanzania (1 Viewer)

Hi, I'm new on this forum and I'm wondering if anyone has an idea of what this bird could be. It was very small, I was up close to it about 5m away under the tree where it was hiding, it's pretty much the size of a common kestrel, if not smaller, and is completely black, with black beak, eyes, and yellow legs. I can't find any falcon or small hawk that looks anything like it, so I think it might be a melanistic form of some species. This was in open bush country, ~1500m elevation, in january.
