Thanks to you both. Now when I look up Angle shades in my Butterflies and Moths book, I CAN find it's picture but couldn't before?
 
Yes I can concur. The larva enjoys Geraniums & can be found all year. My earliest Larva was found on Sea Radish on January 12th 2000. I took it home & reared it out as the adult.
