Day out for a recce (1 Viewer)

Having a visitor soon who would like to see red grouse, Jeannine and I decided to do a recce on our favourite spot for this bird in the Trough of Bowland.

Saw two distantly in flight after hearing 15 - 20 calling all along the walk (boy they sure can hide!).

Interesting sighting though was a dipper and a kingfisher sat almost next to each other on a rock in the same scope sight! Anyone else seen two unlikely birds so close?

Did you see the photo of my pair? (That doesn't sound quite right does it??)

Why did you only toast the one on the right?
