A Sardinian from Sardinia (Sylvia Melanocephala)

Spent a week in Sardinia: after a very rainy spring the sea was a little bit too cold for swimming but on the other hand warblers were still vocal and unusually showy for the period - I liked the change :)
Habitat
lowland scrub
Location
South Sardinia
Date taken
June 2010
Scientific name
Sylvia Melanocephala
Equipment used
500 mm + 1,4X, monopod
I visited Portugal recently and sadly could not get this species as close as I would have liked ...but I did try...nice work Stefano.

This sardinian Sardinian is absolutely beautiful ;) :t::t: Great portait,Stefano :clap:
