Another white in the blue
No wonder we get confused by the seals (well me anyway)! This one is also a Common Seal and looks so different to the one I showed you yesterday.

I'm surprised he's still lying there, the rock has all but disappeared, hasn't it.

Goodness :eek!: I thought only the pups were white. Is this one perhaps a fat youngster, at the stage where mum has left him/her with enough extra fat to make it through until s/he can fend for his-/herself?

He (or she?) looks quite comfortable there Delia. I guess they have quite a lot of padding! It's lovely to see these beautiful creatures, I have seen only a very few (from Church Norton I think). Thank you for showing us your fine images of these creatures.
 
I saw seals in the Hellabrunn Zoo in Munich and on Seal Island (VIC/AU).
Amazing pictures to me. Great captures.
