Alok & Renu

It was great to do
birding in the steaming
hot wetland-forest ...

... in the month of June

At
Keoladeo National Park

Bharatpur Rajasthan
India ...

It was not only hot
but teeming with
insects as well ...

... that kept falling
on us from the trees ...
and crawled into the
clothing to leave painful,
and burning marks ...
... and causing allergic
reaction ...

Yet ...
The quality images of
birds in their breeding
plumage we could get
was simply
amazing

Its always good to see birders in action...Sorry you were bugged by bugs, but I'm sure all your golden bird images you obtained, will make it a small price to pay. A big thumbs up to Sopandev for supplying us with this lovely image.

So great to see you folks in action! I sit down a lot in the woods and my legs always have bite marks. I guess it's just the bane of the birder.
