Great angle and close-up! Here's a neat fact about Blackcaps, they have been known to sing very long songs... they can go from thirty seconds to nearly three minutes long! They are quite wonderful singers, though. Thanks for sharing Ian!

Thanks for the info...they are beautiful songsters.
I like some shots so much that I think that I'll never better it - then the next day I like another more.That's what's so compelling about bird photography.

true! of course, i only get shots of birds at my feeder, in my yard, or in the woods behind my house, as i can't drive yet... so i don't get much variety. which is also why i love doing fun facts in my comments, because i get to research birds i've never heard of!
