Brahminy Kite (Haliastur indus)

A couple of these wheeling around in the westerlies above the cliff tops near the house the other day. Not a real good idea to use a 500 mm lense and 1.4 TC handheld but didn't turn out too bad.
Location
Wellington Point
Date taken
July 2015
Scientific name
Haliastur indus
Equipment used
7D+Sigma 500 +Kenko 1.4 TC
I would have no complaints about a shot like that Ken. Very well done.

Must be pretty heavy & cumbersome for overhead shots. Still, a magnificent close up fly by shot, Ken!! tfs.
