Chalcid Wasp (Conura sp.: Chalcidoidea) These tiny wasps are only 1.5-3.0 mm (0.06-0.12 in) long.
Habitat
Post Oak Savannah vegetation area, urban setting with planted native and non-native herbs, wildflowers, and trees at 99 m (325.0 ft) elevation.
Location
Brazos County Arboretum, Bryan, Texas, USA.

What a colorful small wasp you caught! I might assume it is or was laying eggs on this Chrysalis? In any case I really enjoy this photograph!
