Collared Plover
Presumably, the birds we see in Barbados are from the southern end of the population coming here in their winter.

This is the first time I have caught up with one of these.

Oooh!!! My all-time favourite little wader family and a gorgeous little bird this one is too.

Such a shame we don't see more of these coming in Niels. That's a fine picture you've taken of him my friend.
