American Redstart (female)
American Redstart (Setophaga ruticilla) An American flycatching Wood Warbler. Monotypic. The only species within its genus. It breeds from southeastern Alaska east to Newfoundland, south to northern California, Colorado, Oklahoma, northern Louisiana, and South Carolina. It winters in southern Texas and southern California, throughout Central America and the West Indies with rare vagrants along western Europe. This species is known as the butterfly of the bird world because of its quick fluttering motion of the bright orange or yellow colors on the wings and tail. About 5 km south of Black River, Cornwall State, St. Elizabeth Parish, Jamaica. Species is sexually dimorphic.

Super shot of this little beauty. I love the vibrant colours in this shot with the foliage really complimenting the bird.
 
Our European Redstarts have more red colour shades , so it's interesting! Fab pic, Stanley!
