Among The Rabaris :
Rabaris are the Pastoral
Nomadic Tribesman of
North-Western India.
Tribals were kept outside
the rigid , hierarchical
Hindu Caste system
since time immemorial.
Thus , their assimilation
into mainstream society
has been slow to say the least,
leading to tardy penetration
of schooling and modern
education.
Still, some changes in clothing
style and use of electronic
gadgets are quite visible
among Rabari youth.
Here, some of them are showing
keen interest in bird-watching
with me as instructor , during
one of our birding trips.
