108 mm vs 94 mm
Four days ago I posted my "artistic" image, taken with my zoom at 94 mm. Today I show what I got at my camera's maximum 108 mm, and 13 seconds later. Neither image is cropped. I suspect I did show the better image first, but I'd be lying if I didn't admit to being thrilled with this one too. (Maybe she likes my avatar, lol). I much appreciate everyone's comments and hope my sig line generally covers that.

A great close up Rick with wonderful detail, and I love that eye you've captured.

For me, whenever I can see the pupil in the bird's eye, I am hooked.

This is a great closeup Rick.

She is a stunner Rick! Gorgeous picture of this beautiful female Spruce Grouse. Brilliant feather detail, eye contact, pose, setting, lighting, color, focus, dof, and composition. Fabulous work!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went back and looked at the other shot-like you, I can't decide which one I like better. They're both just super catches and something to be proud of. Well done!
