Possible eagle-owl in Karelia (Bubo bubo)

This photo, taken in Karelia during the summer, shows what appears to be an eagle-owl sitting against a tree, circled in yellow. I knew it was there somewhere, took this photograph and passed by without noticing it. I have never seen an owl this big- in comparison with other objects it is twice as big as the long-eared owl I saw in the summer

Thank you, but yes I am confident on this one- as I said, this owl was gigantic. Also, it really reminds me of the long-eared owl...
This is the rarest bird on my list yet
