Pigeon for dinner, Cambridge peregrines (Falco peregrinus)

  • Gleb Berloff
This is the first time I have seen one of the peregrines in Cambridge shredding a pigeon to pieces on one of its favourite roost spots. For a short while, feathers were flying everywhere, and I was amazed that nobody else saw it while I was there. After a short while it flew off to a nearby building to finish it off there.
