I guess like a lot of species they are more omnivorous than what they are tagged as being. Excellent frontal of this Starling. TFS JJ!

Super shot JJ, looks like this one needs some conditioner for those fluffy feathers, nice one buddy.
 
Got wee ones to feed already? My goodness! Ours are only just beginning to return for the breeding season. They may be building nests, but I'm pretty sure they're no further along than that. Of course, they'll want to get the timing right to feed them when they hatch, and with snow still falling it'll be a while before we have crickets.
