Green Woodpecker

Green Woodpecker (Picus viridis)

She's wreaked so much destruction that it's getting difficult for her to find any ants. She was reduced to digging in the front lawn today.
Lots of woodpeckers in the area recently. Yesterday a pair of Black Woodpeckers were mating in the garden oak tree while a Great Spotted Woodpecker tried to drive them off. I don't think they even noticed him.
