wonderful frozen pose in a frozen setting, Ove, excellent photo, love it, many tfs!!
 
A striking setting and fantastic image, Ove.
 
A wonderful composition, Ove! The ice is beautiful and you've managed to capture the water flowing while keeping the Dipper pin-sharp.
 
Excellent detail, lighting and setting. The longer they stay still the more motion blur/flowing water is possible. Yours is a superb compo. (y) Their plumage always remind me of oily hair. I have tried several shutter speeds at one of my fav. dipper spots outside of Munich in the past.
Not trying to teach you but this is interesting to read
