I was leaving birding when I saw this young Osprey just off the side of a steep dam face, I had a very lucky pull off and pictured this bird through the passenger side window, I was astounded that it stayed there! That is wildfire smoke, it even effected the birding somewhat.

Steep man-made talus slope, rocks with Ponderosa Pine nearby.

Dam face below Anderson Ranch Dam, South Fork Boise River, Elmore County Id. USA.

It could not be a better picture of an osprey focusing a photographer. You had its full attention. Excellent bird portrait.
