Hung out my first thistle sock today in anticipation of their arrival here. Soon, hopefully as in previous years, there will be a half-dozen or more socks out to accomodate them all.

Your shot, indeed, shows some frenzied activity. Very nice.

Thanks everyone! I had about 8 to 10 American Goldfinches, and about 4 or 5 Lesser Goldfinches battling for the six spots on the feeder during the spring. It was quite exciting.
 
I love the movement in this one, you can almost hear them!
