First you look right, and then you look...... (Phalacrocorax harrisi)

Flightless Cormorant. Their eyes are the most amazing blue in the otherwise bland colouring. Adaptation led to shortened wings. This inability to fly takes a toll on their population during el nino years when the water temperature depletes or moves the fish supply.
