Gardens and disturbed Pacific tropical dry forest; foothills of Volcán Rincón de la Vieja at ca. 543 m (1,782 ft) elevation.
Location
Hacienda Guachipelin, Guanacaste Province, Costa Rica.

Such a beautiful butterfly! It makes me think of both stained glass windows and a peacock's tail. A fabulous shot Stanley.
