Great Black-backed Gull (Larus marinus)

Magnificent
Habitat
Village
Location
Cambridgeshire
Scientific name
Larus marinus
Hello Colin,

again tfs your excellent pictures here on BF!

Its a Lesser black backed Gull imo by slender bill, small white mirror on p9 and really pale, yellowish eye (darker in most GBBG). And although not conclusive/foolproof, many GBBG have darker, more black upperwings with less contrast to the black outer primaries.
