Great grey shrike
Not the sharpest of pictures but i liked how it was hovering in the strong winds.

fantastic action shot, Ove, such fabulous birds (a rarity here, but we have the Iberian grey shrike); top marks, many tfs!!
 
They are hovering champions. Close to kfs. What I always find stunning is that they really and often attack passerines to make prey. More "agressive" than red-backed shrikes. RBS leave in Autumn, these come here to stay for winter. Fascinating because they are almost identical birds. A superb capture.
