Great spotted cuckoo

Great spotted cuckoo (Clamator glandarius)

After the dogfight, the pair settled down to call at each other in two nearby trees. One of them is pictured. Interestingly, this bird is older than the other one, which looks like a young bird. But today's dogfight cannot be described as anything other than displaying. Not the first year I see them together, as well.

Where is La Marina?

Lots of them going through Cyprus today, had quite a few on my local trail, always vocal, especially in flight.
