Green-striped Grasshopper
Green-striped Grasshopper (Chortophaga viridifasciata: Acrididae) brown form. Males range in length from 2.3-3.0 cm (0.8-1.2 in). Females are 2.8-3.8 cm (1.0-1.5 in) long.
Habitat
Blackland Prairie vegetation area, elm/oak/juniper woodlands with openings at ca. 198 m (650 ft) elevation.
Location
Stillhouse Hollow Lake, Rivers Bend Park, southwest of Belton, Bell County, Texas, USA.
