An often overlooked species due its abundance, but checking carefully not only reveals a beautiful bird, but also provides great comedy value when they chase each other and squabble amongst themselves.

Great close up of what is now not such an abundant bird. I love to here them chattering but it is a while since I last saw one in the garden.
