Jay
More pics of Fred to come... but here's a Jay for now. Through the double glazing as usual

(I keep forgetting to say that this Sigma lens is quite cheap... under 150 new, and is ideal for APSC sensors. Unless you use a full frame camera, it's plenty sharp enough for most uses, and there's no need to stop down the Aperture either. It's perfect for the garden, but perhaps too short for shy Wildlife. Available for Canon/Nikon too... end of advertisement ; )

I can almost feel those facial bristles!! Terrific, detailed close up shot, Chris!! tfs. As you say, 75-300 is not much use for birding & I have a Canon lens for my dslr. Planning to get rid of it in exchange for a Nikon P 900 which has a whopping 83x zoom!!

I hope Sigma are paying you well Chris, LOL...Super head shot mate.

Super head shot Chris, I still haven't seen one mate, Tfs yours

A Happy New Year to you and yours.

A beautifully-detailed close-up, Chris, and a good advert for the lens! Though I suspect the photographer is mostly responsible. :)
