one of the better ones out the group though not perfect...lol.

Great pose, behaviour, and exposure, Andy. I often need at least 2 stops of negative exposure compensation for these, especially in good light... and I get only a few close to OK ;)

You've done a good job with this one Andy. It's great to know these guys seem to be spreading themselves around up here now. I wonder if they'll over-winter?

Well, I'd be quite happy with it Andy. A lovely setting to catch this Egret in too.
 
esp. in the sun. LOL. A beauty despite the exposure issue. I tried to underexpose the setting around them but still received white blur in the feathers. Not the ideal plumage for sunny days.
