Little Egret

Little Egret (Egretta garzetta)

About 50m distant at the reservoirs yesterday morning, so a heavy crop. I used my Panasonic FZ150 with the TCON17, as my Sony A58 was too heavy with the TCON17 attached.

Wow! Never seen a Little Egret looking so agitated before! I wonder what's got his dander (and crest) up? Is he angry about all the construction work at the reservoirs taking out the vegetation on the banks?

As good a close up shot as any, even with the TCON17. Brilliant capture in a wonderful pose & setting, Chris!! tfs.
