Mockingbirds can be cute, too! (pt 1 of 2) (Mimus polyglottos)

This is one of the pair of Mockers who has been guarding my feeders for months now. I am judging her to be the female, mainly because of her placid personality, but also because she has a little more white on the sides of her face than does the male. Here she is perching on the tree by the driveway where I have two suet feeders hanging. This tree has turned out to be the Mockers' primary daytime roosting place and the tree they guard the most intensively.
Habitat
meadow, farmland, horse pasture
Location
backyard, near Fort Ashby, WV, USA
Date taken
2-11-15
Scientific name
Mimus polyglottos

Olympus SP-510UZ
Its got its eye on you! Nicely framed by the branches, a cute bird and a nice shot, well done!
