I'd have never credited a Dove with having a sense of humour, but after seeing this I might change my mind. These two were on my step ladder, which I use now and then as a multi level bird feeder. The sparrow was busy eating, as the dove landed and then sort of sauntered nonchalantly onto the same step as the sparrow was on. The dove seemed to consider things carefully for a moment, then slowly and delicately, it reached down, and then gave a good yank on the sparrow's tail feathers!! The last photo shows the outraged sparrow, and the dove seeming to say, "Nope, I didn't do nothin!"
