New Zealand Scaup (Female)
Endemic, also known as Black Teal or Papango. My field guide describes this cute little teal as having a rounded toy rubber duckie profile. Female is rather browner and without the distinguishing golden yellow eye of the male. But I rather liked the water reflections in this shot.
