OK! I'm going, I'm going... (Columba palumbus)

My sister wasn't really too keen on the Wood Pigeons, or at least not in numbers... she'd tolerate one for a short while then shoo it away.

This one was right at the bottom of her garden and just has the look to me of him knowing he shouldn't really be there LOL.

August holiday in Wiltshire (got it right this time Kim ;))

Village garden
Location
Marlborough, Wiltshire
Date taken
20 August 2012
Scientific name
Columba palumbus
Equipment used

All this lovely green foliage is very enticing. I would love to stay in there if I were a pigeon.A great capture.

Well the setting is very nice Delia and it's a good shot, but I am totally with your sister on pigeons. I could lend her my catapult but she would have to provide her own frozen sprouts. Glad you are in the right county girl!!!

LOL He is looking a bit shifty Delia. A great setting for this super shot of Woodie together with a great narrative. Thanks for sharing.
